My First Voice Over, with Sarah Fishko, no less!
Sometimes life brings unexpected surprises. One morning I got a call through a friend asking if I would rush to WNYC’s studios to dub over Luis Buñuel’s voice, speaking English with a Spanish accent.
I immediately accepted, rushed to the studio and did it. I am a super fan of Mrs. Fishko’s work, and it was quite an experience to be directed by her. She hears radio the same way we (musicians) hear music. Her shows are always (yes, always) compelling. Quite a treat.
The show is called Shell Shock 1919: How the Great War Changed Culture and my voice appears at minute 40:18. Enjoy!
